Slab Jacking
Introducing Slab Jacking
The American Society of Civil Engineers states that slab-jacking or, as sometimes called, mudjacking, is a "method of pressure injection, practiced for over 50 years to raise faulty concrete." Up until a few years ago, the size of the equipment required limited slabjacking to large industrial and highway sites. Recent technology has reduced the equipment to a size which allows slabjacking to be accomplished on any concrete surface, thereby allowing everyone the tremendous savings and benefits slabjacking offers over concrete replacement.
How Does Slabjacking Work?
A cement slurry is pumped via grout holes under the concrete slab. The slurry under pressure depresses and stabilizes the sub-soil, fills the void, and thus raises the slab to its proper grade.
Slabjacking Offers Additional Benefits
*Slabjacking stabilizes the sub-soil.
*Slabjacking actually makes the slab structurally STRONGER.
*Slabjacking uses present lab - AGED concrete is superior to new.
*Slabjacking ELIMINATES color difference between new and old concrete.
*Slabjacking fills the void, ELIMINATING erosion, water penetration, winter heaving, certain foundation leaks, animals, and insects.
The Slabjacking Method is Effective on Any Concrete Surface
Walks, steps, driveways, streets, patios, curbs, pool decks, ramps, basement floors, shipping docks, garage floors, stoops, machinery stabilization, and more!
